This weeks “chow” is “Mary of the blue lights”.
Description taken from conceptart.org:
No one is quite sure where Mary comes from, or how she manages to survive. Twelve years old, she lives on the city streets, despite many attempts to move her to a stable habitat. Somehow she manages to survive despite adversity, giving credit only to what she calls the ‘blue lights’. Strange, glowing lights that she speaks to and that help take care of her. Only she can see them. Some people see her as crazy; maybe she is, or maybe she is in touch with forces that speak only directly to her.
My first idea was that Mary was falling and that the “blue light” was pulling her back up. You can see the result below. Anyways I decided that it wasn’t going to turn out very good. The anatomy is all wrong and blabla bla. So I decided on a new idea revolving around Mary beeing watched by the “blue light” (in form of creatures) across the city. The blue light need Mary for some unknown purpose. She is special.. blah =)
