Here are the aces that I’ve done for the playing card deck along with some studies of late. I still try to spend atleast 1-2 hours per day doing studies.

These are some of the warmups ive done over the last few weeks. Alot of them are for the “Spitpainting” group on Facebook where you get a subject to paint in 30 minutes.

Some 30 minute sketches for a facebook group that has daily speedpainting topics. Fun fun!

Im really excited to show what I’ve been working on these last few months. Its a deck of 54 custom playing cards that is available on kickstarter from today.

Here are some of the cards!

The first one is a commission for a book by Valya Boutenko. I’ll be sure to link to it once it goes up on kickstarter. Spent a long time on the cover and it was quite a challenge.

Second one is a voucher illustration I did that was handed out at ohm2013. Its really high res so click it too see some details.

Here’s a mix of finished pieces and quick sketches. I’ve mostly been working on this layout for Dragon’s Hoard these last two weeks so not alot of time for painting. But it’s finally finished so here is a sample. The game will be printing soon, can’t wait for my copy.

Did some quick paintings and studies today, trying to get to something decent quicker.

Painted this tonight while listening to the hobbit soundtrack (im a total nerd, i know). Also some reaally old gladiator designs I was hired to do in like april. The client stopped replying several months ago for some reason so I figured I’d post them.

Oh, and a little furry stupid sketch I did..
